Hand positioning is crucial in the beginning to develop more advance skills and speed.  Hand positions are the worst bad habit that I have after 20 years of laziness.  Do not copy me.  The following are some good examples of proper hand placement.  Stay Unblind!

Hi all,

My first post here!  Just an introduction.  I enjoy music, art and reading and have made a habit to all three most of my life.  This blog will be an effort to interact with other bass players and hopefully share some knowledge and information with up and coming players and even advanced players that want to share ideas and such.  I am working on some beginner videos and want to have those up real soon.  In the meantime, if you have any questions, please let me know and I will do my best to answer them.  I wouldn't mind tabbing out some songs if they are ones that I am capable of and as long as I don't have to spend every minute of my doing it to stay caught up.  Have a great night/day!
